Seikoh Giken Co., Ltd. and Domaille Engineering. LLC, headquartered in Rochester, Minesota USA, announced the settlement of the lawsuit filed by Seikoh Giken against Domaille Engineering for infringement of U. S. Patent No.4,979,334 entitled "Optical Fiber End-Surface Polishing Device." As part of the settlement, the parties entered into a cross-licensing agreement in which Seikoh Giken granted Domaille Engineering rights under certain of its polisher and fixture patents, including Patent No. 4,979,334, in exchange for rights granted to Seikoh Giken under Domaille Engineering's polisher and fixture patent-pending technology.
