Supporting global manufacturing with precision machining

We have been facing our customers for 50 years while responding to change.

We thank you always giving us your patronage.
In June 2022, we celebrated its 50th anniversary. It is thanks to the support from our customers and other related parties that we have been able to reach this memorable milestone of 50 years in business.

We have continued to develop products that focus on "small size," "precision," and "optics," centered on precision processing technology.
In the 50 years, we have responded to the growth of our industry, technological innovation, and changing needs. Utilizing our strengths of "precision processing, precision molding, and optical technology," we have provided products that are indispensable for the growth of our customers' businesses.
As the environment surrounding our group changes drastically, What we have always kept in mind to be the "best partner" for our customers around the world. We will continue to be a company trusted by our customers.
Each employee has endeavored to act actively while practicing 3C (challenge, communicate, complete) in order to meet the expectations of customers.

Society is perpetually changing. That is why we also need constant change and growth. We will continue to meet the expectations of our customers and continue to be a trusted company.
We will expand the range by using technological resources centered on precision processing, precision molding, and optical technology. In particular, we will continue to make use of our strengths and continue to move forward to serve our customers in industrial fields where future growth is expected, such as automobiles, information and telecommunications, medical care and biotechnology.
We are celebrating the 50th anniversary of our founding. In order to maintain our status as the best partner for our customers around the world, we will continue to grow further as a corporate group with a strong industry presence.

14 years with Seikoh Giken

I work in the Instrumental Business Division, where I am responsible for the development of new product markets. In order to create new value in society with the technology of Seikoh Giken, we are always practicing hearings and proposals to the market.
It is improtant to improve that existing products and developing products that meet the needs of our customers. Also, in the ever-changing world economy, we are always conscious of "what can we contribute with our technology and "Is it possible to produce original products?" for future growth markets.
It is extremely difficult to create the value of a product that is never existed in the world, and sometimes it involves great risks. In order to contribute to the progress and development of society, we will continue to challenge and grow for the next 50 years.

I was assigned to the Personnel and General Affairs Section after joining the Company because I wanted to work with people. Since then, I have been in charge of hiring new graduates, managing attendance data, and managing in-house equipment and company cars. For me, administrative work is more than a behind-the-scenes role.
One of the attractions of Seikoh Giken is its open culture and easy-to-express atmosphere. Because of that, we young people can also challenge.
In fact, when I was hiring new graduates, I continued to convey my enthusiasm, "I want to be involved not only in the orientation meeting but also in the first round of interviews." and since last year I have been in charge of the interviewer for the first round interview.
As a Personnel and Administration Section, I would like to take on the challenge of becoming a company that is trusted and expected by customers more than ever.

I hope that we can expand the scope of our technologies and meet customer expectations at an even higher level.

Assistant Manager, Production Section, Business Operation Division
Hiroshi Kasahara
24 years with Seikoh Giken

I belong the production section. It is mainly involved in finishing work for molds and other products. We manually finish small parts that cannot be processed by machines, and check the accuracy with a high-precision inspection equipment. Repeating this process allows us to make products to an accuracy of 1/1000 mm.
We have been involved with many molds that are essential to the mass production of our customers' products. Needs change, so I have always been studying and trying and erroring. And, as much as we have overcome the challenges, the sense of accomplishment when we are able to deliver safely is great.
Regardless of the finishing work, I would like to further expand the range of technology and accumulate experience. This will help to strengthen the Company so that we are able to meet the expectations of customers at a higher level.

Assistant Manager, Component Section, Business Operation Division
Makoto Oike
21 years with Seikoh Giken

I am responsible for the manufacture of a range of resin parts using molding machinery. In addition to parts for customers, I make parts used by other departments within the Company.
I have worked for more than 20 years, and I feel that the Company values the opinions of its employees. For example, when someone has an idea to improve efficiency, the Company lets us put it into practice. I try to collect opinions from the molding field so that we can do the best we can in our work. I believe that the accumulation of these efforts will allow the Company to grow further.
The products themselves are so small that they fit in the hand. When products made with the feeling of "I want to make it better" are useful to our customers, I feel proud of our work. I also believe that this is a job I can be proud to tell my family about.
