We are currently developing an automatic polishing system that automates everything from the transfer of polishing pads to the endface cleaning of ferrules after polishing with a target release date of 2024. The main features of the automated polishing equipment include: (1) small- footprint, (2) capability to handle a wide variety of connector types, and (3) capability to handle large O.D. cables.

We are also planning to sell the polishing machine for factory automation that is mounted on this automatic polishing machine as a stand-alone product, equipped with the external communication function, auto clamping function, and turntable origin return function required for factory automation. Since we will ship the polishing machine with the necessary information for communication with the polishing machine, it can be integrated into the customer's own automatic polishing system designed and developed independently by the customer. The existing polishing holders for the SFP-550/560A series can be used, so existing equipment can be effectively utilized.
